When someone cannot, we feel bad, but at least we tried. Most of us felt his anger when our organization wanted an answer to a problem or question related to a problem.Īll the new “regulars” just want to help almost everyone solve their problem and are working hard on it. Sometimes frustration can be the rude boss. However, this line was crossed by I, and not by them. I know that when Jeff and / or Jerry.K crossed the line, they really should have caught your satisfaction – although it may have been personal pain. This technology softwareenie.Ī property is declared in the discussion forums and must be followed. This Adobe forum, unlike others, is considered a “present” by Adobe, and we all (or at least all) appreciate it very much. We do our best, but we will most likely do it imperfectly. All of us, with the exception of people with whom I would call “regular” badges, are volunteers. However, these forums provide results to help anyone we can help. You probably won’t find Adobe’s exceptions in many of the other company-sponsored forums.Īs for some PrPro CS, I personally think Adobe has made a lot of concessions to FCP converters, but this is just my own observation as I have been using PrPro for years. They tolerate mention of competing programs if they are the best solution. Yes, Adobe is lenient and very attentive to user complaints as long as their comments are civil. Well, the one who loves many is given clear, rather strict instructions based solely on his great idea. Yes, they are kind of “cops,” although they also have to take into account some of the flow of the discussion, Jeff, and everyone here and on the Encore forum has been so helpful that their work goes far beyond the MOD. The job of a moderator or host in Adobe forums is thankless. The best setting for Webplay is the H.264 codec.

Here’s the description and an image I grabbed from the Fnord website.ĭownload our free Premiere plug-in for WebM, the open movie format created by Google. The Fnord plug-in for VP9 is free and available now, here. Multiple speed modes offer a range of encoding performance, from maximum quality to high speed results. Advanced controls are provided for selecting GOP size, keyframe spacing, and scene detection sensitivity. The user interface provides controls for key parameters such as frame size, frame rate, rate control mode, and target and maximum bitrate. The tight integration makes choosing HEVC output a natural part of the typical workflow and works in both immediate and batch encoding modes.

V.265-PL uses the Adobe plug-in architecture to seamlessly add HEVC encoded output to Adobe® Media Encoder (AME), Premier® Pro, and After Effects®. Here’s a blurb from Vanguard Video’s press release: Vanguard Video is r eleasing a module called V.265-PL in beta now, pricing and release date was not mentioned, and I’ve requested a beta copy. Vanguard Video and a company called Fnord Software are doing it for them. In their latest Creative Cloud reveal, which I wrote about here, Adobe didn’t include either HEVC or VP9 in Adobe Media Encoder. Note that AME now has HEVC encoding in the latest version, most likely using the MainConcept HEVC codec). (February 4, 2017: While the Fnord plug-in appears to be available, there’s no mention of the HEVC plug-in on the Vanguard site.
